Dream Houses

The other day I was watching 9News @ 4:00 and saw the tour they did of the Parade of Homes in Denver. Oh Wow! These houses are Tuscan and French inspired, and had me dreaming. Sure I could move into anyone of these and be totally happy, but I found some of the pictures on the internet of what I really liked and what I would like to hope to have in a dream house that Jon and I build someday. Well thats a dream, but everytime I see something in a magazine or something that I like I clip it out and save it in my "Dream House" folder. Here are some of the pictures:

These are pictures of the wine cellar. It has a glass ceiling that can be seen or walked over in the fourier (I think that is how you spell it??)

A beautiful bathroom. This bathroom has 12 foot ceilings and has "rainforest" shower heads in the ceiling.

This picture has ideas that I could like to incorporate into our basement. We have started on building shelves for the storage room, hope to have it completed in two years, we will see!!

Funny words by our children

Have you ever seen an old music video by say Journey? Maybe even "Separate Ways"? Well, Thomas has. The song came on the radio today and Thomas piped up and said "this is the video where the lady is lost at the working place" Jeni laughed so hard, she called me immediately. I laughed too! You have to see the video!! Here is the link:

Noteworthy (not really): Jeni and myself are huge Journey fans. Yes, its true, we even went to a concert of theirs right before Rebekah was born!!

Speaking of Thomas's funny lines, we were in an elevator today and Thomas saw the buttons for the doors shut or open. He pointed to them and said "look, its the buttons for the elevator to go sideways" It reminded Jeni and I of an episode of Candid Camera where they play a trick on people with a sideways elevator.

He finally did it!!! (Thomas and the bicycle)

Thomas can now ride without training wheels!! This took 2 years to accomplish, but one day of literally forcing him to try riding worked. After crying about riding in the first place, I told him to try and pedal this time. He had gotten really good at balancing and pushing forward with his feet, so why not ad the pedals? Thomas finally agreed and tried it. Instantly, he did it and now we can't keep him off of it!!!

Little Nathan

Here are some pictures of our new little man. He is truly a blessing from God!!

As you can see, the family is already attached to him.
